Upon arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, you’ll be warmly greeted by your representative and assisted with your luggage. Upon arrival in Makkah, check into your hotel near Masjid al-Haram, where you’ll be able to perform the sacred rituals of Umrah and immerse yourself in the spiritual atmosphere of the holy city.
In Makkah, performing Umrah is a deeply spiritual experience. Begin by donning your Ihram (ritual garments) and entering Masjid al-Haram. Perform the Tawaf, walking seven times around the Kaaba, followed by Sa’i, walking between the hills of Safa and Marwah seven times. This signifies the actions of Hagar in her search for water. Afterward, you may perform a Tahallul (shaving or trimming the hair) as part of the purification process. Throughout, immerse yourself in prayer, reflection, and connection with Allah, experiencing the profound peace of the holiest site in Islam.
After completing your Umrah in Makkah, you will be transferred to Medinah. The journey typically takes around 4 to 5 hours by road. During the transfer, you’ll pass through scenic landscapes of Saudi Arabia, offering time for reflection and anticipation. Upon arrival in Medinah, you’ll check in to your hotel near Masjid al-Nabawi. After settling in, you can visit Masjid al-Nabawi for prayers and pay your respects at the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) tomb, one of the holiest sites in Islam. This marks the start of your spiritual experience in Medinah.
In Medinah, offering prayers in Masjid al-Nabawi holds profound spiritual significance. After arriving at the mosque, you can perform the Salah (prayer) in the blessed vicinity of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) tomb. The mosque is known for its peaceful and reflective atmosphere, with a strong sense of tranquility. Special attention is often given to offering prayer in the Rawdah, a sacred area between the Prophet’s tomb and his minbar (pulpit), regarded as one of the gardens of Paradise. Prayers here are believed to carry immense spiritual rewards, making it an essential experience for pilgrims.
On your departure from Medinah, you will be transferred back to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah for your flight home. Reflect on the profound spiritual journey you’ve experienced in Makkah and Medinah, having performed Umrah and prayed in the holy mosques. With cherished memories of your pilgrimage, you’ll return home with a renewed sense of peace and spiritual fulfillment.
